Open Lab Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Goggles, a lab coat, and appropriate shoes are required for open lab work. The use of lab coats in other labs is at the direction of the lab supervisor.
Eye Protection: Goggles
The stockroom sells approved goggles for PLU lab use where they have impact resistance and splash protection via indirect venting and a seal to the skin. Below are examples of good and bad examples of eye protection including both type of eye protection and use.
