Assistant Professor Level:
1) Physical Chemistry and 2) Biochemistry


ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (Two Positions) The Department of Chemistry at Pacific Lutheran University seeks to fill two tenure track Assistant Professor positions: one with primary teaching responsibilities in physical chemistry, the other in biochemistry. Ph.D. required by start date (Sept. 1, 2010). Post-doctoral research and prior teaching experience preferred. Participation in our undergraduate research program, dedication to liberal arts education, excellent undergraduate training as a major in chemistry, and a strong record of graduate performance expected. Department is ACS General and Biochemistry certified; equipment includes 500 MHz solution and solid-state NMR, AFM, ICP-AES, GC/MS, FTIR, Raman, HPLC/GPC, UV/VIS and DSC.
