AbstractThe temp. dependence of diffusion of tetraethyl[3.3]-1,4-naphthaleno-9,10-anthracenophane-2,2,15,15-tetracarboxylate (a cyclophane dye) in polystyrene, poly(vinyl acetate), and poly(vinyl Me ether) matrixes was studied. The effect of polymer glass temp. on the diffusion coeffs. follows a universal functional form which is well represented by the Williams-Landel-Ferry equation.
