Student Affiliates ACS Chapter Activities, Events, and Programs: 1999-2000 in Review

The 1999-2000 year for the Pacific Lutheran University Chemistry Club can best be described by the following quote, "If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door" (Milton Burrow). The club started off running with activities and events and didn't stop until the school year was over. In fact, the club was somewhat like that pesky little mole that will not stop tunneling, overcomes barriers and traps, and makes a lasting impression. This past year has been marked by significant student commitment to make the club an important and integral component of the Department of Chemistry by offering interesting, unique, and collaborative programming.
